We invite you explore LuteinBenefits.com and learn about Lutein, the natural antioxidant that is so beneficial for human health.
Lutein (from the Latin "luteus", meaning "yellow") is a naturally occurring carotenoid. Lutein is used by the body as an antioxidant, and for blue light absorption.
Lutein is present in green leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale, as well as in carrots, squash, and other orange and yellow fruits and vegetables.
Another great source of lutein is eggs. Due to the chemichal composition of egg yolks, lutein from eggs is more bioavailable for humans than from other lutein-rich sources.
